Doc Savage Finished (Again)

#1 Post by Hooty »

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just finished re-doing a base for a Doc Savage figure, that a friend from work wanted me to do for him. Night-Owl painted the figure, a few years ago, for the fella I work with. He recently lost the base due to a couple of his grand kids. I had a generic base that I thought might work with the figure. Here are the final results.

Sculpted the vines with Aves. Gold nuggets are Durham's Water Putty granules. Stone bowl holding the gold was a brass incense burner painted with Krylon Stone paint. Machete made with roof flashing and sprue.

Excellent work with the figure and the base fits it really well.

Nice job, Russ! Rick did a great job on the figure, too...
