Phantom and Dracula kitbash

#1 Post by Dale Stringer »

A project I've been in and out of just to see what it would look like (bearing in mind it's styrene, not easily worked) :D - Finished it today - bailed on putting anything else on the base - just tidied the figure a bit. Excellent head sculpt from ENN Todd, !!!

That's some kitbashing, Dale. You may need to explain how you accomplished it.

Thanks for looking in, - Dracula body with modified arms - Todd's EHH headsculpt - used the Dracula cloak to cover the modified arms(cover my mistakes :)) (I cut the shoulder parts at an extreme angle to pull them in to attempt an arms folded look) a the rest is an older Phantom kit from the stash - still to finish the painting the hands, base and add the animals to it -
The head is a bit large but not to out of scale....

Everything looks great. Proportions look right. Paint job looks awesome. You should share some of the details of your painful process to get the arms bent properly. Any before pictures to share? Thank you for what you did share.

Hi, sorry I didn't take many photos at that stage - I cut the shoulder connections at an angle to enable a rotated down attitude - trimmed the over the shoulder and chest area of the cape to allow this downward turn. The arms are actually attached to the inside of the cape (covering a lot of sins)
The hands are rotated around to an upright attitude - hope all that makes sense
