Yes, I actually was born and raised in Chi-town. We would never back the Packers, no matter how good they were ;-)

Much respect to the Giants. At mid-season, I thought Coughlin would be getting fired at the end of the year. Now they're in the Superbowl! Quite a turnaround. :D

My guess is that CJ dislikes Cheat-a-chek as much as I do.

Even though the Giants are our NFC rivals, I can respect them for their quality of play; but NE is still the "team that cheated" and for all I know, the Eagles lost that SB to them amidst all of it, so I can't back NE even a little bit.

Also, we read this same story back in '07, so unless someone has torn out the pages, the ending is still the same: Giants 28 NE 24

Truth be told, George, is that I can't stand the 49er's OR the Pastry-Rots. The acrimony for the Phoney-Niners comes from my younger days as a Cowboys and Saints fandom. "The Catch" was a play that smashed my Cowboy heart, and of course, being in the Saints, and THEN the Panthers division, made them a natural cursed rival, due to their success. Of course, when they began to suck, the hatred turned to ambivilance. And then, there's the Cheat-a-Cheks.....

I'm just glad there's a team I actually LIKE in the Super Bowl which will make the evening at the obligatory PantherFanz Super Bowl party bearable.

Being a die-hard Jets fan since Farrah creamed Joe's face w/Noxema, I must step in and congratulate the Giants and their fans. Good luck in the big game.

Like CJ said on George's FB post, had the Texans won the Ravens game last week, I'd be goin' back and forth with Kenny, Scott, and all youse Gints fans about the best defense in the NFL playing the other guys wearing blue, white, and red in the Championship Game on February 5th.
