And where you been?
The band has been around since 95.
This cover was a hit single back in 2003.
You really need to get out more
Yeah, I looked the vid up! Thats why I replied "damn my ears!: Loud! They say if its to loud, your to old........ And I got out today doing side work. I was grossly under paid because Im to generous. So I took the jack to the "Great Escape" and bought 3 DVD's, a series of "Shanna" comixs and found "Discovery" and "Foriegner 4" on CD.
Wasnt kidding about that U-2 bluegrass song! Blasphemy!

As a result of "discovering" "In This Moment", I realised a number of sidebar YouTube links pointed at another female-fronted band - Halestorm.
Geezus can this girl sing - 23 years old and with the voice of an angel. She's been writing and honing her art (along with her Brother - the bands drummer) since the age of 13.
Their sound (and Lzzy's voice) reminds me of a combination of Heart, Vixen, Joanna Dean, Rock Goddess and Alannah Myles - in the best possible combination.
They are road-animals, and are currently touring with several other bands (including Disturbed - thanks for the heads-up on THEM Trev - small world in rock circles!) and I'm getting tickets so I can see them both at the Vancouver leg of the tour.
Also bought the CD.
Damn I love rock chicks (probably why I married one) - leather, lace and attitude - can't beat that ANYWHERE.
Church was deep today! We sang "America the Beautifull! And reflected on our indepedence....but recognized the fact that our country, despite its errors, is a nation under GOD! AMEN! Sing it Ray........................
Hey Ian.
I'm glad you discoved Halestorm.
Great band. I almost got to see them last year.
They joined the Papa Roach tour, the show after the one I saw
In one of the threads around here, I posted a youtube link to one of thier drum solos. Total blast!
If you like chicks doing vocals, you need to check out Skillet also.
Their female drummer does some awesome backing vocals on the song Hero. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avUTaohfc3U

I haven't tracked down your "drum solo" post yet - but it might be the one on their website?
Thanks for the Skillet link - GREAT song (and those pyro's - wow! ) Another band with the sort of sound, "attitude", look and presence I like (not sure about their historical classification though - still - live and let live).
