Spiderzero QUADRUPED

#1 Post by FengShuiStein »

I just finished this one up: Simon Lee / Spiderzero’s “Quadruped”. I really love this sculpt, as it’s a much more benign design than we usually see from Simon. The base was made from several pieces of driftwood cobbled together, as well as some good ol’ Aves. Needless to say, this was a hoot to work on. Thanks for looking!

I like the direction you took on this kit my friend. The base concept with the eggs and the spread for each limb in driftwood is simply awesome!!!

That looks great, awesome how you got the blue's, ellow's and whites of the skinpattern to blend into eachother.

Phil...I think our definitions of "cobbled" vary as this looks fantastic! Fits like nature intended, and has a nice organic feel to it!

Great patterns Phil! The base gives him a "windslasher" feel.
Hope you feel better too!

Wow, beautifully done. Almost the exact colors color scheme I had in mind, I guess because of the abe sapienish face, light blues can't help but come to mind. The eggs are a nice touch. Definitely reminiscent of the old Windslaher kit. How did you make it so the wood branches acommodate each foot so well?
