IT's Back! Weekly Flea Market finds Part 2

#1 Post by XactoHazzard »

07.13.08

This weekend marks my return to the flea market scene, a hobby I've grown to love but took a break from when Ronan was born. He has hit the 6 month mark so I thought he might sleep in a little longer this Sunday. That and the great weather made it the opportune moment to begin my return to the swap.

Boy was I glad I did it. This weekends snags:

Horizon Resin 1/8 Batman $10

3 Hallmark ornaments for
$5(checked the price guide tthey were worth
$39, $58 & $20)

Thick roll of Empire Strikes Back Wallpaper $5
Artwork not photos, this was a golden find (1980)

Mummy puzzle late 70's early 80's illustrated
Although the art on the box is cool it says in small print
that the artwork on puzzle doesn't match the box.
guess I have to build it to see if it's cool.

Couple of plaster wall sconces, for statue display.

Until next time!

Nice score there Travis 8)
Travelers to unknown regions would be well-advised to take along the family dog. He could just save you from entering the wrong gate.

There is always something at Fleamarkets or yard sales.

But I never go on a Sunday. [-X

I have no such luck anymore. The flea markets around these parts seem to be a semi- commercial venture with guys with questionable residency status sell dollar store rejects! Want some Durasell batteries?

garage sales in my area seem to be only people getting rid of little kids stuff. Want strollers, Little Tykes crap, or baby clothes then come to my area! Seems to me that finding anybody getting rid of models is not like it used to be! Sure everyonce in a while I will find a Nascar kit but I don't do Nascar!
