Dear friends
Thank you all very much for your nice comments - they are really appreciated!!!

Yeah, these are sometimes tough to build up / paint / handle cause they're really big -
they based on the Aurora Boxart but not the scale of the originals!
Next is the Bride, which is really a tough project (the glassware - eechh!)
and will take a looong time towards the finnish.....

Some more of that stuff for those who are interested:

Thanks again,

Hi Rainer,

another paintjob very well done. You really brought Bama's art to 3D.

 :D

Das ist Fantastisch!

Best feel I've gotten for the sculpture, since the paint and lighting always tries to mimic the box art. I like how you have rendered this.

Not Your Father's Aurora Dracula Kit!

#32 Post by Mickey Kidd »

This is a great kit and you painted it so vividly. It works on so many levels that I don't know where to begin. Suffice with a few highlight as I see it: The silver lapels on the tux: great choice and expertly executed. The skin tones: very rich, The walls: incredible effect, it's as if the light of the moon is cast upon them. What talent! What type of paints were used?

IMHO, this kit and the Janus Dracula are two of the best representations I've seen so far. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to buy either when they were available.
