The Philadelphia Auto Show

#1 Post by AntMan »

Hello,

I wasn't quite sure where the correct location would be for me to post this, (or if this would really be an appropriate hobby forum
to post it at, at all), but I figured that some of you also have interests in automobiles, and some of these cars have both
horror and super-hero themes after all.

Anyway, I attended the Philadelphia Auto Show a couple of weeks back and have posted the pictures I took at the show,
in addition to writing a short report on it.

You can view it by going here: https://www.scififantmodmadrealm.com/Ph ... 025-1.html

Happy Reading!

Thanks!

And Yep, I agree (about the cars with the Gull Wing doors.

I think I'm personally blown away with those 1960s Camaros. I tell ya! I was definitely born too
soon. I fell in love with both the Camaro, along with the Mustang, waaay back in the 60s. Unfortunately
I was just born in 1961, and by the time I was old enough to buy one myself, they had moved into the
collectable category.

Same year here  My first Summer car in 1984 was my cousin's '75 Mustang that stalled every time it went through a puddle ... my first (leased) car was a 1986 Camaro, in the same year and through 1989 or so ... it was a piece of junk frankly, and would refuse to go up any hill if there was even a trace of snow or ice on the ground (guess I should have put sandbags in the trunk - that cured me of EVER wanting to drive a rear wheel drive car again!)

But agree completely about the styling of those 1960s Mustangs and Camaros .... those cars were in a class of their own ... and if you were lucky to live in CA or the SW where you didn't need to worry about snow and ice, a helluva lot of fun to drive!!! :alcoholic:
