2001 Dr.Dave Bowman

#1 Post by Miguel Zuppo »

Hello Earthlings
I'd like to share with you my newest sculpture and I hope you enjoy my version.
It is a 1/4 scale mini bust of Keir Dullea as Dr. Dave Bowman from the acclaimed film 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Sculpted in epoxy putty and super sculpey clay, it is available at Sci-Fi models and Stuff.
If you are interested, please contact my friend Daniel Gardon.

Thanks for the extra pics of the excellent likeness of Keir Dullea.

Having seen 2001 five or six times on first release and several dozen times since I feel Space Odyssey is baked into my DNA. Unfortunately, as an older person with a backlog of unbuilt kits I can't really justify buying anything new.
