AWIL

#1 Post by csoldier »

AWIL sculpted by Jimmy Verbeeck. Not sure what the availability is on this one, I picked it up at a UKGK Show 2-3 years ago.
Sculpting and casting are both excellent. Scale is 1/15th (120mm).

I didn't feel brave enough to paint a 'checked' shirt so took the easy way and left it at red.

Lovely work Dave, it's a great piece. It must have come out 20 years ago...

Cheers Ant, I hadn't realised it had been around that long. JV himself advised me of the scale :).

You just had to make me look.... :)

The pictures I have of my finished one are dated May 2003 so yes, it's been a while :-)

Wow, another nice little master piece, I too picked this one up at a UKGK show, flawless castings but mines still in the stash pile.
I also have Jimmy's Dog and Norris Thing kits, lovely details on both of those too. I know he started a Blair monster to top off this
memorable trio, but don't think it's been released as yet.

Cheers,
Paul
