I think the ride is about to get mighty frantic with the following four episodes - Here's what I think is going to happen -

Danerys will strike back in a MAJOR WAY, once the alliance with Jon is cemented. With Dragons. And the Lannister army will be cooked to a crisp.

Arya arrives at Winterfell, just in time to save Bran from being assassinated by that worm Pytr Baelish. And she finishes the job. Seeya, Littlefanger...

Somebody else other than the Lannisters or Targaryen alliance will get a holt of that gold seen in the teaser.

Theon will try to rescue Yara, with tragic results.

And the true menace of the White Walkers will manifest itself at the end of Season 7 - a HUGE cast member will buy the farm.

What do y'all think?

Oh, and there's a significant role that Robert's bastard son Gendry has to play -

House Baratheon may yet be resurrected...

Cersi is the most evil and vile villain in the show.
I firmly believe she will eventually die by Jamie's hand.

Was anyone else disappointed that apparently the Sand Snakes used no poison on their weapons?
I was hoping Euron would at least be ill in this episode from some of the slices he took in that battle.
I mean, that is one the biggest things the Snakes are known for isn't it? Poison.
Yet none of their weapons had any ill effects on Euron.

I love how things are playing out. The chess game between Cersi and Dani.
You can see who has been playing this game a long time for sure.
A little bummed we didn't get to see the actual battles, but OTOH I am glad things are moving along too.

I think we are in for an impressive battle in the next ep.
I just hope we don't lose a dragon in the battle due to Cersi's new toy.

Cersi had every right to do that to the Sand Snake woman. Could be interesting if she was faking it just to prolong the torture.
Major disappointment that Jamie did not turn and slice the old lady in half after she fessed up.
I believe we are going to see some dragons die this season and I feel that between now and the end Bran will Warg into a dragon.
Major thumbs up for Jorah being back in the mix (just love the sound of his voice).
Little finger is really on my nerves at this point.
My major Ah ha moment was when i watched it the second time and realized why Cersi wanted the banker to give her just 4 days.
My wife is very concerned for Gray Worm and thinks he will die soon.

After the last episode something clicked, in my mind, so I've changed my stance on how it is all going to end, at least in part. I think it's all going to end with..............History repeating itself. Danerys will lose it when she finds out that in fact she is not the last Targaryen and Jon will either be killed, again, or he'll exile himself. They have put too much emphasis on her character boasting of being the last Targaryen( i.e the iron throne is HERS by birthright ) for the last few seasons AND just as much emphasis on the mad king and his atrocities.

The whole series is about foreshadowing, sometimes cleverly other times heavy handed, and the character of Danerys has been set up as the perfect disappointment, to become the first mad queen. She has had a rough life, sold into slavery, hunted since she was a baby, raped, etc, only to rise above all that, which would make most into villains, and become a freer of slaves and gentle character who believes she can save the world. Basically what we've all witnessed, IMO, is the cliche soon to be ultimate villain who started out with good intentions. Once the show reveals that...... Sopranos ending :D .

Nah.
I think when it comes out, Jon will have zero interest in sitting on the Iron Throne.
He will want to go back north and just be king of the north. Leaving the rest for Dani to rule.

Actually, pretty sure she asked for a fortnight.

I'm betting those scrolls are all about Whitewalkers.
It's actually a reward, disguised as a punishment so the other Maesters don't raise a stink.

Yeah - it was. I remember thinking "that'll need translating for most of North America"

Not sure about the "walkers" bit (certainly could be though - would make sense), but did think there was a glint in the Archmaester's eye as he set Sam the task :)

I don't think my scenario its going to matter if Jon wants to or doesn't want to sit on the Iron throne. The simple fact that Danerys will no longer be the last Targaryen and Jon's blood grants him claim( him wanting it or not is irrelevant ) to the throne based entirely on Danerys' logic. She may not ice him, but she'll go mad :D.

Can't speak for North America but yep I needed a translation. Although if Cersi owed me money and asked me to hang around for 2 weeks I am not sure i would.

I'm still waiting to see if Tyrion will end up having Targaryen blood.
I've read some compelling discussions on how he could end up being the 3rd dragon rider.

To add another twist, it's been suggested that Bran - the current three-eyed raven - is himself the original three-eyed raven. That is to say, he and the Max Von Sydow character are one in the same, that he is able to visit all points in time and influence events. Remember Hodor.
If that's true, how may is shape what's to come?

Over the next few decades, Bran goes back in time repeatedly to build Winterfell, the Wall, and Dragonstone and all the other things a legendary Brandon Stark is credited with doing, he then decides to go back to convince the Children of the Forest to not create the first White Walker. They don't know what he's talking about but decide it's a great idea so they bind him to a tree and jam a piece of basalt in his chest.

Thus the Night's King ability to know when Bran is watching them, he remembers it happening.
