I know that Jerseyfest is 79 days away (13 hours...39 minutes...) but who's counting? I AM!!!!! Why? Because it is my first East Coast show EVA!!!! Moved from Arizona all the way to Maryland and although I could not make to Wonderfest, Jerseyfest was the next best thing.
In 1995 I saw a Billiken Predator kit that a friend had built and fell in love with the hobby since. I remember that day like it was yesterday...you know, things that stick in your mind that you never forget like the day man landed on the moon...or Kennedy assassination, or the first time you see a model kit
But I am also excited to meet some of you that helped me with my painting or just talked modeling for the past few years. Like I always say, the kits are just a part of this industry. The people make this hobby so enjoyable and fun that I can not imagine not being part of it.
It seems far away but Summer goes by fast and Jerseyfest will be upon us sooner than expected so make sure to reserve your hotel rooms, tell the wife and kids you will be gone for a few days and have a heck of a time...
