Are you using gouache or are they digital?

Acrylic, actually. I would like to get into some digital stuff, though. Just ordered a "Wacom Bamboo Fun" pen and tablet for my computer and am gonna dive in as soon as it gets here. I'll never give up the paint and brushes, though.

Here's an older one. I'm due to give Bela another try sometime soon:

That is awesome. The likeness to Chaney & Lugosi is amazing. :thumb2:

Didn't he sell the bulk of his collection a while back? Thought I remember hearing that somewhere...

This original was purchased by comic writer Doug Murray (THE 'NAM):

I love your take on these classic monsters, great work, especially as it's actually painting! Do you have these on a website?

Thanks again folks for all the kind words! Here's the only "Outer Limits" character I've done - but I'd like to do more...

These are really great! The Outer Limits one looks like a painting that would've accompanied a vintage toy, or book cover. Love these!

The use of color is neat, much like some old school movie posters, or illustrations in EC comics.
The discordent lighting effect of blue or green highlights on one side and red on the other has an effect of increasing the errieness of any illustration.

Great technique all around, excellent work.

Music to my ears!

Thanks again for all the kind words, folks. Means a lot!

Here's a take on Gojira, the cover for "Wonder" magazine dedicated to kaiju:
