Unfortunately, these events have impacted us quite badly and left many with a general sense of malaise. I honestly had no desire to paint anything for quite some time and was seriously thinking of just abandoning the hobby altogether. Every time I forced myself to pick up the AB, it just didn't feel "right".
2 weeks ago, I slowly started to feel the itch to paint again and gradually started to get back to work. The two things that helped me were my kids nagging , asking me why I wasn't painting my "scarey stuff anymore?"
and the Clubhouse, with all the amazing and inspiring work that you guys were doing. Although I haven't posted any feedback recently, my admiration and appreciation of all your work never ceased and kept the fire alive. So THANK YOU!I recently and FINALLY finished painting, and in the final stages of putting together, a life-sized Christopher Lee Dracula... I hope to post that soon!
In the meantime, here's something I finished last year. It was supposed to be an article in KB Magazine, but given the situation with there, I guess it's time to show the finished work here...Wonderfully sculpted by Jake Anderson (Deity Creations), here's a 1:1 scale version of the Wolf creature from Bram Stoker's Dracula!
