Yeah, I talked to Hooty this morning - he drove by Rick's place, and it had no damage. I tried to call, but he must not have an answering machine.

Just received a call from Rick. He's fine - just a few shingles off his place, so both are OK! Great news!!

At least 89 dead. My prayers for the lost lives and surviving friends and family members of the Joplin disaster.

i've had no internet since joplin got hit & i been freaking out worried about my 2 WF roomies...rick & russ...glad they're ok...thanxxx for the news...

thoughts & prayers to those who perished and those whose property is devastated...

Glad they are all ok - I live in Mo near St. Louis and the storms last couple days have been bad. I can't imagine what all they are going thru down there.
The devastation must be overwhelming.

Very glad to hear that both Russ and Rick are OK. I had breakfast with both of them on Sunday of WF weekend, so the suddeness of how quickly things can change is rather striking.

Wow! Glad to hear our MO contingent are alright!

We had a near miss ourselves that same day, but nowhere near the damage, nor loss of life. Only 2 dead. One of those was from over-exertion from helping rescue other people! Don't mean to make it sound "casual", but for comparison's sake, if you take my meaning.

Thoughts out to all those who've lost something because of this!

sorry i missed you at breakfast george...i seen the line out the door and did a quick about-face...it took the waitress forever to get our bill the day before and i didn't have that kinda time to kill...
