I talked to a Louisville police officer that was working the show and looking at this that said if he pulled you over and this was in your back seat he would probably shoot you. Very realistic. I kept expecting it to blink.

LOL!! I would love to know what went into making that from the head, teeth, hair etc...just so creepy.
Might be a little odd to have people over and a head is next to them at the dinner table.
Guess if i owed it i wouldnt want that in my display cabinet per say, but as room runs out, i wouldnt mind that for a Halloween display each year. Be kind of cool and acceptable to store it away and open it up each year. Odd part would be if the heads were different and neighbors started to disappear

Does anyone recall whether these were "action" figures or kits? Look like Alien UFC fighters by Screaming Bullet.

LMAO!! The real one though, right? This is true he has been too cool for WF since. I think he is looking into different planets to showcase himself.

The guy who sat behind said it shoulda won for 'creepiest guy at the convention' I thought it was funny. Other people were arguing over whether or not it qualifies as modeling, but to me the only difference between it and a 1:1 scale head is the material it's made of, and the subject matter. And it was in the original sculpt category so I think it's fair. I was blown away by the quality of it. Maybe not for your average home collection, but I'd rock it at my shop all day.

How does he hold up the body? I see it around the neck, but how does the body go horizontal?

There was a sort of small "saddle" against the man's hip. The suspension of the "litter" holding Mrs. Fairfax was the weak point of the model, in my eyes.

But it's still a great great model, and a wonderful piece of theater, telling a complete story with two figures and a nameplate. Impeccable workmanship. Very very nice.

Edit: Geez, I sound like a snob. Let me make it perfectly clear that I loved the model and that it's about three times better than anything I've ever done. It had that 'pull" that keeps you coming back to look at it again and again.

Vampire Hunter - I loved it but agree that the suspended bed was a distraction. A one wheel cart could have been cool. What made the model so great (IMHO) was the detail with teh ropes and papers and IVs and lots of little items that gave no tell sign that they were fake.

The decapitated head - It could have a happy place in my man cave but only if you install one of those singing fish mechanisms. I thought I read on the card that it said "Not To Scale". Anybody else see this?

Next year I plan on staying at least one night. Plus I am going to wear my Iron Man costume for part of the day. (No I was not the Iron Man this year)
