Thanks and NP. I was just responding to There was alot of great entry's this year. The ones that won gold and Best of Show were well deserved in my opinion. This talk about new Judges to make things better I guess could be a good thing to do if it makes things better overall. My biggest question is ...

I can ONLY speak for me. I was a judge at the show. I don't know all the reasons why the AFM guys were left out but the WF staff thought it was the best thing to do so it happened. I can't say I fully agree with it BUT I don't think it was to "lower the bar" because their was a lot of good...

I learned once again that there are some fantastic people in this hobby and love seeing and hanging out with them every year! OH...and eating Mr. Cantu's BBQ! Outstanding job guys!!!!! Can't wait until next year!

I painted everything in oils over acrylics for years before I started using the air brush. I would also incorporate pastels. Shep Paine has an excellent book. It's been out of print for awhile but you might be able to find one on eBay.
