Re: Gillman Productions Alien Tribute bust

Glad you like it. This is a fun little kit that fits anywhere on a shelf. I also like the gray aliens; I've seen this one done in green but the facial structure on this one begs to be done in gray, with various shadings. Again, it's produced by Gillman Productions and doesn't put a dent in your wall...

Re: The Cat (from "The Cat & The Canary)

Thanks, everyone. Crimson Pool Productions is a new company who is specializing in silent film subjects and will be branching out into other areas in the future. I can't say enough about the quality of their castings, with little to no seam or air hole clean up (one of my least favorite parts). The ...

Gillman Productions Alien Tribute bust

This is a two-piece resin kit in 1:5 scale distributed by Gillman Productions. The Alien figure was sculpted by Jeff Yagher, the base by Mark Van Tine. There was a little seam work on the Alien head and a lot of air holes to fill, done with a mix of Testors Contour Putty and lacquer thinner brushed ...

There was very little seam clean up, with the exception of where Kong’s arms attach to the torso and the torso atta...

Re: The Cat (from "The Cat & The Canary) with photos

This is a five-piece resin bust based upon the 1927 silent film “The Cat and The Canary” as portrayed by Forrest Stanley and sculpted by Ray Santoleri. It’s the second in a series of busts based on silent film characters that’s produced and distributed by Crimson Pool Productions. You can tell that ...

This is an approximately 1:5 scale resin and metal kit designed by Matt Lawrence and sculpted by Bran McGuire. It’s distributed by Starlighting Projects. There are 23 resin and metal pieces in the basic kit and Matt also included a Starlighting Projects Terror Torch with the kit when I bought it at ...

Re: The Phantom - The Ghost Who Walks

Thanks, Michael. The cup and sword came with the kit. The extra skull I had and was pleased to see that it matched the one that came with the kit. Feel free to use the ribbon addition, it's quick and easy to do. I glued mine on with superglue and tied it, then sprayed it liberally with Testors Dull ...

Very well done, especially the water effects. I've used the model railroad water on my train layout, it will eventually clear.

Re: Punk Is Undead! Zombies Unleashed! build

I found that one at Wonderfest 2015. I bought if from Larry Johnson from Action Hobbies. He had another one there this year. Eamil him at action-hobbies@excite.com and he'll set you up with one.
