Re: Terminator 2 bust

Looks good. I like the T2 logo. It's actually a shade under 1/2 scale... I incorrectly scaled it originally.

Bandai 1/48 X-Wing

Second one of these I've painted up. This kind of painting is all new to me... I've tried to go a bit lighter on the weathering but it's still a pretty beat up X-Wing lol http://imageshack.com/a/img923/1033/j72b1n.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img923/8363/aa5a3W.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img921/4697...

New Terminator Paint jobs.

These guys went on display at the recent Arnold events held in Edinburgh and Birmingham. I think they are the best paint ups I've done up to now :) http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii184/Alaneye/Terminator%20Event/IMG_3007.jpg~original http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii184/Alaneye/Terminator%20...

Great looking kit and even better painting. I nearly picked one of these up at the local model shop but I already have the Halcyon one.

Re: WIP - Kyle Reese

Lookin good, Kathy. Best pic I can find from my screen grabs from the new blu-ray showing his eyes is this. I think I did mine grey, but there could be a bit of brown in there. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii184/Alaneye/Kyle%20Reese/eyes.jpg~original For stubble, might sound crazy, but lightly...

Re: How do i paint skin splatter (Hard to explain, see photo

I'd guess that it's been done with either a fine spatter tip on an airbrush (taking off the tip of your airbrush and spraying at low psi and can work too though it wouldn't work with my Badger 150 but would work with my Iwata), or possibly a stiff bristled brush cut short, dipped in paint and then s...

Re: WIP - Kyle Reese

Looking good, Kathy. If you need any reference photos give me a shout. It was one of the Tamiya greys that I think I used. Maybe neutral grey.

Re: WIP - Kyle Reese

Ooooo, I've been waiting for and looking forward to your WIP, Kathy. The rectangular cut out is the ejection port for the spent cartridges. They are often on the side, but with the Ithaca 37 it is on the underside. I couldn't find any photos looking directly into it so I wasn't sure if there was a d...
