I have a great figure idea on my list for this. I don't know how many times I have tried to finish it. After each failure she moves farther down the list. Maybe it is time for another try... except I am still several jams behind and still working on the femme fatale which I almost did this manga girl idea instead of the fish girl. In my mind fish girl is a nice casual pose and would be easier. Should have started them both. I may do that. I'll start this weeks jam and work on them both moving forward.

Dear Jnr and Dennis,

I LOVE YOU GUYS! :jam:

Since I've been all talk and no sculpt lately, I'm going to make it count with this jam. Or at least try my hardest on it.
So as a start I'll post one of my recent study-sketch for an anime/manga style head sculpt for a project I'm making. It's still a rough (about 15 min work) but I hope I can help in showing the topology and plane of an anime head sculpt.

and here's one with a test hair for styling study

Oh and did someone say Gatchaman?

*it's old so it doesn't count

This was all done in soft wax so I'll be making it again in harder wax for detailing, except gatchaman. That sculpt has been long gone melted and made into something else. More VERY soon.
Happy sculpting, guys!

Edsa, nice sculpts! 8) I'm glad someone could get a Jam in this time. :D

I'm going to kick off the next Jam a little early today, something a little different that I don't think we've done before.
