Kitbash Fighting Minotaurs

#1 Post by barad_dur »

Kitbash Fighting Minotaurs.

2 legged Minotaur: I combined Steve West Ernie torso and head, Tony Cipriano Cyclops legs and arms.
I sculpted new left arm , beefed up hooves , and added 3d printed spikes.

4 legged Minotaur: I combined Steve West Ernie torso, 3d printed Balrog head, Toy bull figure body.
I sculpted all the arms, claws, legs, hooves and tail.

Base is a significantly modified foam temple base. I converted archway to water basin, added splash and 3d printed Balrog head fountain.

There are many work in progress pics of this bash in the Kustomizers section of this clubhouse.

Joe - I love the sheer DYNAMISM of this 'bash ... re-posing the figures was a CAPITAL idea - including the legs --- the base is amazingly detailed and the little touches like the water splash and moss really "put it over" and into a new level!!!

Thanks guys!
This bash was a lot of work.
It required the most sculpting of significant parts from scratch out of all my bashes to date.

Came out great.

Thank you LOBOREX, Steve, and Tim !
This was my first try at a water splash effect.
Pretty happy with it but of course I learned some things to do better next time.

So awesome, I love the splash effect. Absolutely nailed it.
