Asu Kobo Gabarah Commission

#1 Post by Jon LeGrand »

Here is a commission I did of a 14 inch tall, hollow cast resin kit of Gabarah, the bully kaiju from the movie Godzilla's Revenge, produced by Asu Kobo.

Love this kit!
You didn't need to play the "roar" I already knew it. This was my daughter's favorite movie when she was little. Played the VHS at least 100 times.

Your paint looks great. I love the colors you chose. They compliment and accent each other wonderfully.
Such great detail in that face.
For me, the eyes aren't the weirdest thing, it's the lack of a tail.

That's what I mean. He doesn't have a tail, or a butt.

Outstanding! You really brought out the personality of this character. Just that wicked look on his face would be enough to be intimidating.

That's great Jon! This is one of the most appealing kaiju build-ups I've seen. Colorful and with heaps of personality and as always beautifully executed. I'd find this one difficult to give away.
