No worries BA, almost done. I just need to add the lurking creature and some more water, and maybe a waterfall .
Lurking creature is painted and I Just need to add stain wash and it will be done.

Point of clarification: is the creature supposed to be outside of the water? Your waterfall comment suggests that, and here I was all this time thinking that the entire scene was under the sea! 🤠

Creature is outside of the water.
My vision is that this creature is inside a grotto.
That is why the top level and bottom level both have pooling water effects.
I may add waterfall off front of top shelf to bottom basin.

Dare I even suggest that you build a grotto behind and slightly over him? 😁

Yeah, I thought about adding a “ceiling” , but then he will not fit in detolf shelving, and I do not want to have to buy a custom case

Sandy Corolla sent me some additional small shark hunter heads when I purchased the shark hunter kits.
I attached one of these small heads to an eel like kit (I can not remember where it came from)
The concept here is that the adult creatures start out as tadpole like creatures when they are young.
I have placed the tadpole creature swimming out from underneath the top shelf.
I have addd another layer of water in the bottom basin, and I have several more layers to add.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH!!!!!

That "thing" slithering under the base gives me legitimate CREEPS!!!

And that water - is that resin water? Because it looks 100% REAL!!!

Hah! I am very glad that you like it …(if it giving you the creeps qualifies as like?)
I think that the idea and execution of that little critter are pretty cool; even if I do say so myself!

I am using woodland scenics realistic water.
I really like the woodland scenics water products. They dry crystal clear.
They also work great for creating lava. Just add a little fluorescent paint in multiple layers.

Yes yes, saying that it gives me the creeps is the highest compliment I can absolutely pay it! Once again, you're way ahead of us in terms of your thinking this thing through. It is going to look absolutely masterful when it's finally completed. 🤩😁

I interpret your build as the Shark Hunter standing atop a shore or reef platform surveying its domain and/or scanning for prey. Looks finished to me :). Your tadpole creature (a shark hunter larva?) is an evocative touch. For what it's worth.

Originally I planned to have some skulls and bones on the shelf in front of the creature . I tried this but it made the look too cluttered.

So , cut a hole in the front of the upper shelf which had the benefit of allowing a better view of the tadpole creature underneath .

Started adding some ripples for the swimming tadpole .
Have some refining to do.
Water is still clearing.

Almost finished .
Just have to permanently attach upper shelf to base . But waiting to finish ripples and water to completely finish curing .

That's right Bill.

I like the hole in the top layer as it adds visual interest and dimensionality. Nice, subtle ripples for the tadpole. Have you changed the color of the base or are my elder eyes deceiving me?

Thank you Vlad, Steve, and Ian !

To answer your question Steve, I did not change the color of the base, the color just looks different because those pics were taken with only natural light during the day.

It’s 99% done , just waiting for water to totally cure and clear.
Only potential work left is if I need to refine tadpole ripples after all the water/ripples completely cures.

I will post final pics very soon.

Thank you all for following this bash and for all the positive feedback.

That other bash in the background is my Medusa-Cthulhu bash.
There is another thread with work in progress pics of that bash in this Kustomizers section.
I will start working on that one again very soon.
