    2) Couldn't be happier for you Tim - getting the news on this on this thread about 3 great people being recognised for their talents has made my day.
    3) Well done Tim - congrats!

I'm more of a "lurker" here, but I got my first Bronze Award this year. I got a Merit back in 2019 - which I was thrilled with - but getting a Bronze this year made me feel like I am hopefully improving.

So much bigger than I had imagined it (even after seeing all the pics of it)

I took almost 1000 photos, so it's gonna be a while until I get them up.
But here is a pic of what I got in the contest

1 silver
1 bronze
8 merits.

I was happy.

Definitely worth your time to view it.

Here's the direct link  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFZYqPsTgNM - I believe it was the first "on site" Wonderfest 2023 video uploaded to YouTube (and by a Brit - but don't hold that against him :) )

Thank you! And Yes, He's designed after the Thomas the TIE Fighter meme that's been out there for a while. Here's the full entry with the "advertisement." If you zoom in, you should be able to read the "crawl."

All and all, another successful Wonderfest. I didn’t spend too much money, and while I didn’t get all my intended projects completed for this year’s contest, (there’s always next year), what I did get finished and entered got some recognition. \:D/

• Gold - Blade Runner Rachel
• Silver - Morticia Addams
• Silver - Surfer Girl
• Silver - Problem Child
• Bronze - Harley & Bruce “Twister”
• Merit - Bat signal Catwoman

I don’t think photos taken with my phone do an adequate job, but the models are included in several albums taken by other Wonderfest attendees. I will make an effort in the next few weeks to take some decent photos with my digital camera and post them here.

Cheers! 8)

That was you? That was awesome. My son pointed it out when I was showing him pictures, he loved it.

I felt the same way until I got my new phone with an upgraded camera. Given the cost of a digital camera, combined with how unwieldy it is compared to a phone, you would do well to look into getting a phone with an upgraded camera instead

If you don't want to spring for a top of the line phone that's over $1,000, ( I didn't either), I can suggest to you the high mid level Samsung Galaxy A73 model. It was not offered for sale in the US, but you can get it off the Amazon Samsung store for about $400. The catch is that in the United States the phone will only work if you have T-Mobile as your carrier.

The reason I picked up that one was that all of the reviews that I found indicated that the camera on that phone was essentially equivalent to the camera on the $1,000 Plus phones. And brother, let me tell you something, they were right. 😃
