About all I could find was this link, which mentions my homey Heavy Metal Spike. He has a pic of a 1/6 scale alien with the model (which looks smaller) so I'm guessing it's smaller. I'm sure HMS can give you a better idea than that though.

Hey tim ,

Thanks for the link , sounds like its an old kit . A grail kit even back in 2009 guess this is rare and hard to come by these days . Didnt even know this existed until last week and ive been collecting for years . Shame i missed out on this auction.

Thanks for posting mate .

My guess would be 1/8.

Rare as hens teeth.

That's a British kit from the early 90's. Sculpted by Mark Trowler possibly, if my fading memory serves...

I've just built this and I would say it's definitely 1/6.
Needs a bit of work, but well worth it.

Nicest buildup I've ever seen of this kit Brian - wow! =D> =D> =D>

Since you have it in-hand - your scale estimate carries a bit more weight than my guess - so 1:6 it is :)

Thanks guys just opened the box i gotta say its a very heavy huge kit its very impressive. I cant believe how well detailed the kit is . The base alone is 21.5inches and the figures is 1:6 scale . I took a few pics of what the kit looks like . There are a few breakages but the auction did state that but the breakages can be easily fixed :D . Tim i think youre right im gonna build it it too good to keep in a box . Will be a while before i get to it though got 2 others atm in the making inc your 1/4 scale ape u sold me tim :D . The other i be posting pocs very soon . Anyway thanks guys for your help and your kind comments .

Thanks for the pics Robert.

Shouldn't be too much hassle to sort that broken base out - particularly if you decide to cut out the "hole in the floor".

Good luck - and please don't forget to post WIP pics if you have time/opportunity :)
