I was commissioned to make this for the XM Studios Thanos pre-painted statue.
Sculpt in progress:
I deviated from the XM design. My thought was that this was an ancient artifact, not a part of Thanos' regular costume, so I designed it accordingly...
Then after baking the super sculpey polymer clay until it was cured and hard, I cut apart the glove so I could do the engineering for the lights:
And then after protecting the Thanos arm with some cling film, I sculpted the bottom of the glove onto the Thanos arm so it would fit...
And after some sanding and a paint job; VOILA!
