I will abstain from the live album discussion.
I have too many choices (over 2000 recordings currently)
I will say the best commercially available audio is still LAD

It would be great if any of us going to see them raised a glass for John (Raydrz), in the bar, on the night we attend.

I won't be seeing them on THIS tour - but it's going to be a custom of mine from now on.

I already do it for my dear friend Corey. John makes it TWO Maiden Brothers I've lost.

Great idea, though I don't normally drink at shows.
Too much hassle, and too expensive.
But I will be thinking of him.

Personally, I find it annoying.
I do 'get' why they do it.
But I prefer to have my tickets sent to me, so I have them in hand, and can just show them at the door.
Having to go to the window and show my CC and ID to get my tickets was a nuisance when I had to go through it in 2012.
I'm unclear what the procedure will be this summer. Hopefully they still print out actual tickets when I get there.

When they did this last year, the e-tickets are emailed to you with a barcode. Either have that on your smartphone OR print it off, along with the credit card you used for the purchase.

They scan the barcode and check the credit card number & name - all done at the door as if it was a regular ticket.

Well, this year (at least for Toronto) they don't mail anything.
From what I am hearing you just show CC and ID at the door. Which sucks.
I want a damn ticket to hang on to.

Not even an emailed ticket? - you must have something that confirms your seat or area numbers?

In fact I have every ticket from every concert I've been to except 1: The Who in 1971 at the Mississippi River Festival near St. Louis. I do remember the ticket costing $2 and it was a general admission show.

I have everything from the 90's on up (including hockey tickets)
For some reason, all my 1980's tickets came up missing. Oddly enough, shortly after my wife complained about me having so much crap around the house, the box containing those tickets, and several Conan the Barbarian 1st editions came up missing. She swore she had no idea what happened to it. But I still have my suspicions.
Just like the only concert shirt I don't still own was my Motley Crue Theater of Pain shirt. The wife tossed it 'because it had a hole in it'
