evening!! :D

oh she laughs at it Ant. her get out is that nice things come in small packages. i think she's right.

i hope Dennis does get something for his desk top. i think i will inspire him.

had a day off sculpting today and carried on re-painting my Exclusive Emma Frost, the clear one by Bowen. looks better with colors. i do enjoy airbrushing. :thumb2:
spent the evening watching David Lemon sculpting on the Tube. i love his work. i'd like to find something inspiring to sculpt like that and in bigger scales. Supers are ok but all been done to death i think sometimes. i often feel i'm just copying old work.... :-k :-k

You are a very brave man.....but revenge is sweet as they say... small packages you say...

So you like airbrushing....when I post the Bobbleheads to you, I will put something else in the package....It is a very old, but original airbrush by Aerograph made in London. It is even in its original box. It is made of brass and is quite weighty. I have never used it but it looks clean and might need a new needle. It just looks really nice. It has been shoved in a box for about 30 years. I started work at a porcelain company back in 1981 and got to know one of the aerographers that decorated the flowers. He used it every day and when he retired, he gave it to me. It needs a good home. I think it could be about 50 years old. Won't be offended if you do not want it. :)

OMG! I saw that in your thread in the main forum, too funny!

That one goes directly into the Smiley Hall of Fame ( or is that Hall of Shame? )

Sadly, I couldn't find the time to make one like I wanted  , but I enjoyed reading this thread and watching everyone else's work. And thanks to Adam, I now have something new to torture my coworkers with.
And maybe a a great Halloween costume idea to boot! Heh.

Hey! All the back and forth posting and I NEVER made the "Adam" and "Ant" connection! Thanks for pointing that out!
 I don't think I could torture myself with that costume, let alone anyone else! It would be pretty scary though.

I didn't make the Adam and the Ants connection either until I started to write that post :)

ah thanks Ant, real nice offer buddy . you hang on to it as it must have some memories attatched. i already have an Iwata i bought in 2006 which needs using more i think. i have a nice Vampirella kit i bought back then too which i should really paint up. like your Aerograph, its been in its box for far too long!! :)
i take it you cast my head in a tinted resin and airbrushed some glazes on for shadows and tints? all i have to do today on Emma is blow on the bluish tints for the white leather shadows and glue her back together. i have put the heaing on. bloomin cold again. :( oh well....

Adam-- thats Legendary. i shall send one to NIkki. mwhahahha! how did you make it?? :)

Hi Tim! - I use PhotoShop. When you start a new project, look in the toolbar 'Window > Animation'. Opens up a timeline. You do your frames as layers and in the timeline, you just turn on/off the layers to show for that frame. Then 'Save for Web' and choose 'gif'. Actually very easy.

Thanks Dennis!

Glad you all like the smiley! Heh.

Now that needs to be your new avatar Tim... until a better one comes along.

I have been racking my brains for an answer to something..whilst messing with this jam I keep singing in my head the 1980's hit..'Pump up the jam, pump it up 'etc etc . sad I know but I liked some of the early clubhouse music in that era. Can someone put me out of my misery please.? :)

Thanks Ant

I don't know....lately I've got the "Maniac" song playing in my head for some reason.

She's a maniac, maniac on the floor...and she's dancin' like she's never danced before.........

Frustrating isn't it Dennis.......if only there was a way of stopping it....you try hard to forget it...and then.....BANG.....its back in your head again. .

just remembered the one film I saw that song played you keep singing...one of the American pie films when the guys were looking for Leslie Summers to make the wedding dress. They were in the gay bar and Steven was having a dance off with the one guy. I wonder if any of us would have the nerve to have a dance off with anyone.......
