Tim - from your last update the hair seems to be in two layers. One where it is more detailed and the 2nd seemed flatter and later added. Why not trim down to the first? If it weren't up the hair would be around shoulder length instead of what maybe waist length.
Two things I like about it is that it gives off a vibe of hair a blazing and the arms perfectly frames the hair movement.

essentially its pretty much a sheet of wire Mesh cut line an Alice Band and shaped in to stands at the ends then the rest built up to cover and match. so if you guys like it and think it suits the piece then it may look better after its thinned and the hair strands detailed.
i was just worried it may have looked a bit over the top....! sloppy even.

Jnr, havent forgotten about Doom's skirt needs either. how is he coming on mate? and he who is the new Kid on the Block??

thanks for the opinions guys. much appreciated. :D 8)

not sure what you mean by Callum Blue, tim. No, this will be the T. Stamp one from the movie. Unfortunately, with the grimace and wide eye that i have going it doesn't look close to Stamp's face. I will probably re-visit the facial features at a later date. I want to do the base body done, so I can do the cloth later on. I don't want to make the same mistake with Dooms' skirt.

what?

" Kneel before Zod! " (actor Callum Blue)

....now appearing in Smallville and has just attained his Superpowers.** Zod figure comes with an Army of Kandor! ** :P

he's no Stamp Jnr but who is? still ,he's smart, arrogant and devious. Callum does a fair job in the Role as Zod. Clark has no idea he has his powers yet. think its all about to go off in Metropolis. :2guns:

dont watch many tv progs but like smallville.

Well, it's looking like my Penance bust is, well... a bust  for this jam. Too little sculpting time, too many hassles with material. I think I'll clean up what I have & transfer to wax though. There are parts I like in it.

You guys got some great stuff in on this round though. Hope to see a few more updates by later today.

Monk - Too bad about the lacking time but it happens to us all. I'm glad you're transferring it to wax, though I have to admit the armor looked cool even in the original material.

Hey! don't sweat it, Manuel. This is THE place to show stuff and get crits back. Don't be ashamed of what you have done but be proud of it. One of the main purposes of the Jam is to keep people sculpting and sculpting and sculpting. We're not here to show off work but show we're we are at our level, ask for advice, apply it and get better.
The Jam is only supposed to give out ideas and maybe a little push in some direction but mainly to get us motivated to keep going.

You should see my early sculpts. I started small and got frustrated I couldn't get into details so I went a bigger scale. When I got comfortable and started shrinking the scale back down. I am still learning and still taking crits and comments. Along the way with more practice, I try out new methods of doing things and try to adapt them if they work.

Anyway, things are getting close to the end, maybe 3 or 4 more hours. I will try to get some rest but I did finish the basic body parameters and will try to at least get some clothing on him but in rough form. Here he is for now...

Well, half of his shirt is done but I would rather show him with a full shirt on that half with no pants. So without further ado-do, on to the next jam.

Thanks to all participants and I sure hope you all will enjoy the next topic, I know I will.

nice one Jnr! looks real good. love the expression ! great pose and anatomy too.
