My new X-Plus Wolf Man arrived today. Unboxed and laid out/dry fit the base parts as I was keen to see the ‘fog’ part of it. There’s been some mixed noise about the fog part as it is but I think it’s cool….didn’t take head sculpt pics but it looks spot on to me…
I started the base and started some mistakes too. First one, I glued the tree in place and found out the fog piece won’t fit over it. I ended up trimming a limb to fit the hole over it. I glued the tombstone/cross monument and again, the corresponding hole doesn’t fit over it. Managed to remove it after softening the glue. And finally I drilled the base and added a light for the lantern. Then I noticed the fog is too low to mount the lantern under it -? Look at the instructions again they show it sat down off the vase in front…I was too far along with the lighted lantern si has to regroup.
Okay, I ended up trimming the hole for the tree and Wolf Man’s left leg so it’s connected and big enough for the lantern to fit through. So got there in the end. Learnings : don’t glue anything ahead of fitting the fog. And make a decision on the lantern placement versus the fog …

Awesome job! Love the eyes. Give us some photos from a higher angle where you can really see the fog please.
These few are a bit higher angle. I’m away from my cabin/shop right so can’t take anymore at present…I will try again tomorrow…
It is nice, great addition to the kit. Just remember to properly plan when to put it on ….(mounted to the tree before installing it, then install the tombstone) and if lighting lantern, look out how its height interacts with the fog as to the position on the base or beside it…
The Wolf Man figure will fit through it okay…
