Jiji and Lily - Kiki's Delivery Service

#1 Post by KathyD »

My first completed models of the year, hesitate to call this a kit... These are characters from the Studio Ghibli movie "Kiki's Delveiry Service"

The two cats are 3D printed and arrived in a Christmas Cracker. They stand about an inch and a half tall and were painted with acrylics.

The wall came from The Pile Of Things I Bought Because They Might Be Useful At Some Point (TM), black base was 3D printed to fit with a vanyl cut name plate.

I love it! You'd think the wall came with the figures.

(Since I have A Drawer Full Of Things I Bought Because They Might Be Useful At Some Point, does that mean I'm infringing on your trademark of The Pile Of Things I Bought Because They Might Be Useful At Some Point (TM)? I mean, it's a drawer, not a pile. Wouldn't that hold up in court?)

Very cool. The wall goes perfectly, can't believe you had a wall in the stash that fits such small figures. What else is in that stash?

Kathy, I absolutely love the different perspective that you bring to the otherwise horror and sci-fi heavy modeling subjects of the Clubhouse.

Your build ups are unique, super cute, surprising, awesomely well done of course, and always a pure pleasure to look at! 🀩🀩🀩❀️❀️❀️

Pile of things that I might find useful, Kathy, I just reread that and started laughing.

Technically, I'm not infringing on your pile, because my pile is spread out around my garage modeling studio. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

All sorts of pieces including a Greek Temple from some anime, that someday I hope I might be able to use for the Jason and the skeletons fight from the Harryhausen movie.

Putting them all in one pile, or box, yeah that's the ticket, that might actually help me to organize my stuff and actually use some of the stuff!!

BRILLIANT! Thanks Kathy! 😍

This is so wonderful.
Hey, you built and painted it, it counts as a model. Doesn't matter how small or simple.
I love it BTW!
