Vampirella "Curves" - William Paquet

#1 Post by derekc62 »

I've been rummaging through my collection of completed kits, photographing some for the first time for an up-coming project, and it appears I never posted this one.

This is William Paquet's take on Vampirella called "Curves."

It's a 1/6 scale resin figure.

It looks like I painted this one in 2016.

Nice.
I like how the base gives a nice pop of color while still contrasting nicely with the figure.

Thank you Vlad and Trevor!

For comic book fans, the tomb stone is a nod to the classic character "The Spectre" and you can almost make out the profile and the name "Corrigan" for Jim Corrigan who became the avenging Spectre. The character was co-created by Jerry Siegel of Superman fame...

I would have sworn in was in the Gallery. I was wrong, it is now. She's a beauty.

Thanks !

Oh, the things I'd do differently if I painted her today...
