Blood Feud II back on the bench

#1 Post by DNA »

Started this build over 10 years ago and never finished. She’s now back on the bench. This shouldn’t take too long as she is about 90% done already. Just need to paint the face, add the broken tiles, bullet casings, and other small details

What a coincidence!

I'm also trying to finish up this kit that's been sitting on my shelf longer than I care to remember :)

I initially had the red tiles where you've painted them (on the outside) and then decided to move them toward the center by one row.

My basic flesh is done but I need to do the detailing. After that the costume should be a breeze... although I do have a couple of ambitious ideas for the pistols and loose tiles...

The character is Selene from the Underworld series of movies (vampires vs werewolves) and the actress is Kate Beckinsale.

Roberto von Behr sculpted this and I think it was released by C & D Nightmare Productions

Maybe that’s why I shelved this kit for so long. It took over ten years to get over her after the divorce 😂

Yes, Roberto Von Behr was responsible for this masterpiece. C&D were the producers and they were absolutely an amazing team of brothers. Wondering what C&D are doing now and wish they were still around producing quality kits.
Those last set of screen grab pics are fantastic. I remember watching the DVD and pausing that scene to get the details for painting the base.

Looked her up and was surprised she's 51. I mean I haven't seen a single one of her movies. 😂😂😂 I confess I haven't gotten out to the movies much the last couple of decades!! :lol2:

Still some minor details to do with the portrait but here’s where I’m at. Thanks for looking!

Yes, Roberto did a fantastic job with the movement of this piece and sculpted a base to complement the flow of the scene.
