For those who haven't been keeping up with him on Facebook, our good friend Steven is living the best life he can with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. What he's been sharing the past several years goes a long way toward teaching me to appreciate the life I have.
For his 60th birthday, Steven is asking his friends to consider contributing to Compassionate Care ALS, Inc. I threw in five bucks, figuring every penny counts, and thought perhaps some of his hobby friends here might be interested.
Here's the fundraiser page.
Thanks.

Done, thanks for the heads up Todd.

Thanks for posting this Todd.
Tried to donate but (big surprise given it's Facebook) it's putting all sorts of hurdles in my way (and making me more than a tad suspicious regarding what it's asking for).
I'll try again tomorrow when I'm not so tired.
I DESPISE Facebook.

Yeah, I have a similar issue. It won't show up on FB of course but I gave here: https://ccals.org/donate/?donateto=14389Heavy Metal Spike wrote: ↑March 27th, 2024, 12:42 am Thanks for posting this Todd.

Thanks for considering this, guys. Steven has exceeded his goal by several hundred dollars and is pleased. Squidy, are you connected with him? If not, if you'll let me know how much you contributed, I'll message him to let him know.
