Amuneth Karnak

#1 Post by Kyuzo2802 »

Hi all, I've been MIA due to work and other real life craziness. Anyway I did manage to finish this 1/20 Amuneth Karnak from Abyssoul. Base is scratchbuilt with a pvc pipe core base for the column and sculpted apoxie for the exterior. I added the pharaonic bust bought at a souvenir shop on a recent trip to Egypt.

Cheers! :)

Very cool.
Helena is here at hand;
And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?

Managed to miss this when you originally posted :oops:

Amazing work on EVERYTHING - sculpting, presentation and painting.

Like Vlad said . . . that carving is magnificent . . . must have taken you AGES - particularly at that 1:20 scale (3-3½" height?) :shock: =D> =D> =D>

Thank you all for the kind feedback and my apologies for not replying sooner! I was out of the country for awhile where wi-fi was spotty.
As for the hieroglyphs I used a texture roll from Green Stuff World because my Ancient Egyptian is not up to speed lol.
