As promised . . . cue the trumpets, the fanfare, the dancing girls, the strippers pole . . .

Episode 9 . . . it's (not) the "Star Thunderbolt and Lightfoot Wars" show  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79GNQpKffZs

I'm watching it right now.
It's been great so far. Doesn't drag at all, and even more interesting than I thought it would be.

Snap.

It's a long one (ooooh-errrrr Nurse . . . .) but really enthusiastically presented.

Just finished watching this 5 minutes ago.

EASILY my fave episode so far, for all sorts of reasons - including the topics, personality dynamics, enthusiasm, and sense-of humour (and that's saying something given how much I also loved all the other episodes!)

Clocks in at 2hrs 20minutes - but I (HONESTLY!) could have watched these guys go at it for another 2 hours - EASY.

I made some notes throughout that I'll post over the next couple of days when I have chance - but I am SO thankful that all 4 of the fellas took the time & effort to entertain us and lift our spirits =D> =D> =D> =D>

Funny, informative and highly entertaining. Time flew by watching that one (as all of them). Seriously, make them as long as you want they are enjoyable.
Thanks for the time and effort put into these shows Scott and Jason.

Thank you so much gentlemen! We are finally getting comfortable I think. Now that we have gotten a lot of the technical nuts and bolts figured out we can focus a bit more on content and trying new things. I am so happy people are enjoying it.

Since it was mentioned in this weeks episode Bloody Disgusting did an article today on Millennium's two awesome Halloween episodes. They only call Jeff "the actor playing Frank" but you get the point.

Fake news reviews proudly presents:
  • • “Thoughts from some random reviewer” . . .
    • AKA “Things I picked up on(but you should really watch this yourself as context is apparently important!) . . .
    • AKA “Spike’s notes” (like Coles notes but not as intelligent/useful)

This shows the importance of The Clubhouse for RELIABLE information:
  • • You will observe that CNN & MSNBC have STILL not admitted that episode 9 is out.
    • There also appears to be deliberate acts of suppression on Twatter & Farcebook.

Our regulars:
  • 1) I decided at the beginning that Scott’s new haircut was going to be the funniest moment – I was wrong.
    2) Good to see Scott’s use of special effects is improving – from the supremely emotional “9 fingers”, to the impressive fast-forward, to the shocking leg shaving & back-waxing (Lucasfilm watch out!)
    3) Production is getting better, photo fading in/out & placement is getting better, but timing is getting worse  - not that I minded - I didn’t want it to end, and had SO many questions for both Jeff & Mark.
    4) Personal (ish) to Scott – I’m STILL sorry we couldn't sort out the right balance for that Casablanca kit. A missed opportunity for sure.
    5) Happy Birthday to Jason for Oct 31st.

Our guest stars:
  • 1) It’s easy to see why John Tucky & Jeff were such good friends (one of the few serious observations in this list).
    2) Mark slept in the crawlspace under Mark Brokaw’s sink while learning how to cast.
    3) Mark Brokaw likes shooting bad castings with a pellet gun after they have been filled with pressurised air.
    4) Jeff is very experienced and he thinks Mark’s package is very nice.
    5) Both Mark & Jeff are incredibly humble.
    6) Special thanks to Jeff for proving I’m not the only who likes displaying sculpts sans-paint (hey – art is art regardless of colours!)
    7) The new “Witch” AURORA box art kit that Jeff has sculpted for Mark – OMG !!! FORTY-FIVE (!) pieces. It’s not in my wheelhouse for subject matter but damn the whole thing is AMAZING – so much detail, so beautifully sculpted - Jeff is so IMMENSELY talented !!!!!
8 ) Jeff sculpts great potato bats :)
    9) Mark gets inspired by sitting in parking lots.
    10) Jeff has sculpted 500-600 kits/busts (he's lost count!) NOT including Sideshow stuff  Image – I’d KILL to get a book featuring his complete sculpting history.
    11) Jeff’s favourite scale to sculpt is 1:4, but he also likes 1:2 scale busts (I prefer 1:1 busts – but then I’ve always been sweet on Pamela Anderson types).
    12) Jeff was once Kyle MacLachlan’s roommate (busts . . . twin peaks . . . I’m starting to see a pattern . . . )
    13) Jeff sculpted the “muscle suits” for the latest “Bill & Ted” movie (pity he didn't do the script - that was AWFUL!)
    14) Michelangelo (the 16th century sculptor, not the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle) made garage kits.
    15) Jeff uses heroin as a substitute for balsa foam.
    16) Best laugh – zombie Presley playing his guitar in 1985 – I almost spat my tea out over the monitor !!!! Image
    17) Happy 10th wedding Anniversary to Mark for Oct 31st.

We were asked multiple times how many of Mr. Yagher’s sculpts we own:
  • • I am embarrassed to admit that I only have ONE  - the 1:5 Jungle Hunter Predator that Jeff sculpted for Sideshow - released as a prepaint back in 2012.
    • I’m truly amazed at that because I sincerely think Jeff is one of the most talented sculptors on the planet – especially for likenesses – and he’s one of my fave sculptors. As someone posted in the YouTube comments, the reason is that the bulk of his subject matter (driven by his clients) doesn’t overlap with my interests (that are mostly related to monsters & music).
    • However, as has passed through my mind on MANY an occasion, I’m thinking I should contact him about the TON of stuff I’d love to have sculpted that I can GUARANTEE he’s never done before :-k

I really like all 4 of these fellas - they have a great sense-of-humour - Mr. Bridges & Mr. Hamill never stood a chance =D> =D> =D> =D>

Loved your review and loved this episode. I looked in the Clubhouse Gallery and there's only 1,250 pictures of Jeff's sculpts. I'm happy to say I have at least 12. Looking forward to the next episode and Spike's review!

Well, it's now the most watched of their videos to-date.

Well-done Jason & Scott (talent listed alphabetically).

Thanks for the kudos Jason. Anything I can do to gee up viewing and to encourage yourself & Scott.

I just want to state - here and now - for the record - I am NOT interested in that Scott Johansen action figure that was doing the rounds (well - unless it's autographed).

I hear a rumour that Episode 10 may hit the streets tomorrow . . .
    • . . . I then heard another rumour that a recount showed it may simply be Episode 8 again (what? - too soon?)
