Heard about Bill's passing this morning.... still in shock...

He was definitely one of the good ones, and will be missed.

What ?!?
OMG, that is very sad news.
I didn't interact with Bill a ton, but always had fun chatting with him at WF and seeing his posts on FB

I am really getting tired of seeing posts in this forum.

I'm with you Trev, but the fact is that the average hobby modeler is probably "North" of 50 ... its a reminder to live life to the fullest each day ... gawd if I could have had that outlook 30 years ago ...

Bill always reminded me of Randy Bachman (of Bachman-Turner Overdrive fame).

I didn’t have that many online exchanges with him, but the likeness always meant I took note when he posted.

Plus - he was a polite, friendly, talented and kind member of the Clubhouse, over MANY years - right from the very beginning - http://theclubhouse1.net/phpBB3/memberl ... ofile&u=53

Sad to hear the news. My sympathies and condolences to his close friends and to his family.

So we say farewell for now to another member of our Clubhouse family and we wish our friend Phibes a peaceful transition from this life to the next, and we pray the Lord God will watch over and comfort his friends and family.
"God Bless and rest in peace!"
