Thanks for the reply. I brought some silicone putty off of the Internet to try and make a waste mold of a head I was working on, couldn't believe the speed in which it cured! Not cheap to waste either. So far so good mate!

Here's an update on what I've been up to. Started working on the Cape. I'm mainly concerned with how everything fits together and will fit together in the end. Let me know what you guys think

I have chosen to restart my Batman statue. Since it's original purpose was for learning and my skills in working with wax are not up to par, I decided to use a firmer clay for the body and only use wax for the detailed parts (head, hands and boots). It was much quicker to sculpt the whole figure and during the whole process I have learned a lot from my mistakes. Now I just need to finish this guy up, no more excuses.

Thanks Tim! I actually chose a more static/classic pose to make it a bit easier. I didn't want to bite off more than I could chew like before.

I was almost too embarrassed to post an update because it has been so long since my last post. what do you guys think?

Thanks for the info. Are you gonna sculpt the torso and legs in the y2klay then transfer it to wax?
