Hi Tim
Some good stuff happening in this jam. :)

I have seen a few clips of the new Trek and funnily enough saw the one before it on freeview. Also on Jonathan Ross the other night saw the guys that plays the young Spock and Lt Uhuru ( if I spelt that right ) How in your opinion do these films compare with the other generations of Trek? Are there any real obscure characters from the Trek films ? I only ask because I never really grew up on Star Trek....

I cant say I am a Trekkie or whatnot but I remember the original series and have seen repeats on CBS action channel Ant; personally I prefer the newer actors to the original films and such. I like how they are more 'human' even Spock.

that's all I can say without spoiling the new film for ya. :)

quite fancy trying a sculpt of the new Spock though. :)

Hi, I am currently working on Nemesis The Warlock in an attempted Kevin O'Neill style, his art on Nemesis and Marshal Law is so cool and funny, his characters have a triangular shape that stands out to me, DMITRI -9 Assassin for THE Filth a side character that really steals the show in a graphic novel by Grant Morrison and Chris Weston. Hi Guys

I took my Black Bob and Andrew Glenn model to Harrops yesterday and the wax was passed after some cosmetic alterations, which actually made for a better piece. Came home with two more commissions.... :D

Hope you are all doing well with your sculpts.

All of my stuff is just collecting dust. My Wonderfest trip this weekend has been cancelled so maybe I can use that time to finish something. I did get two new kits in and that has got me pretty excited.

Ant,
After seeing your posts I thought of you when I saw that there is a Gerry Anderson exhibit at Wonderfest this year.
From Wonderfest website:
So many of us grew up watching the shows of Gerry Anderson, who died this past December 26th. Since the puppets and vehicles all looked like toys to us, they offered up a world of imaginative models and collectibles.
WonderFest is working with Supermarionation expert Anthony Taylor and his friends to pull together an amazing display of Anderson collectibles from his puppet and non-puppet shows. Only Anderson could make puppets act like people...and people act like puppets!

Ant,
I was just copying and pasting from the website for Wonderfest. I wasn't able to go this year but the clubhouse has an entire room for Wonderfest. Post a question there and somebody may be able to help you.
