Re: RESIN MODEL KITS
I guess I should throw in my opinion here, as someone who sells printed kits. First of all, I always ask the original artist if it's ok to sell prints. Most of the ones I talk to, say it's fine to sell prints as long as I don't sell the files. A few don't want prints sold and I respect that. As far ...

Re: Digitally created model kits. How do they work?
What I don't get is how do you know where to buy the files, like which ones are legit? Now that I ordered a 3D printer, I've been looking for a few models to print. Just to have something to test out the printer. I see some for $20 and then I see the same files on an Etsy store for $5. Same model, s...

Re: Digitally created model kits. How do they work?
I've been nervous about buying 3D printed model kits. But I bought one last week and I have to say the detail is amazing and sharp, every part is near flawless, pretty much ready to prime and paint. However, I don't think people should sell files, as those can be hacked, passed around and spread ill...

Cost of printing?
So I see a lot of people are starting to sell printable kits, where you get the files and it's up to you to print it. The files go for very cheap.
How much does it cost to print lets say a 1/8 scale kit from one of these files? Good print quality. I mean sending the files to a pro 3D printer.

Noctilian... I forgot who sculpted this one but it's been in my stash for a long time, until I finally got to it. https://i.postimg.cc/hXdpNMPx/IMG-9353.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/mcW84Mtn/IMG-9361.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/rdGgwm4w/IMG-9363.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/BLqpL05c/IMG-9365.jpg

Demoness (nudity)
Sorry for the picture quality. I can't find the charger on my camera, so until I get a new one, I'm stuck with phone pics. This is a cool sculpt from Nikita Lebedev. The sculpt itself was a bit rough. I smoothed and sanded it the best I could. https://i.postimg.cc/nMpKPtXn/demoness01.jpg https://i.p...

Re: Original?
That's why I asked. I was a little unsure for a number of reasons... first it was an opening bid. Some sellers start with a lower bid to get more interest. Second in his pictures he has different colored resin for different parts. Never seen a recaster do this. Seller based in US. But then again the...

Re: Question About Ebay International Returns
PayPal sucks! Unrelated to model kits... But some woman bought a puppy from my wife and paid with PayPal. She came got the puppy, paid, sent my wife pictures how happy she is with the puppy. Then a month later, I got a notice from PayPal that this woman called her bank and said she didn't authorize ...

Original?
Does anyone know if this kit is original or recast? He doesn't say in the description, other that he bought it from Singapore and I believe the sculptor is from that part of the world. (not sure on this one) Maybe someone who has the kit can tell if that looks original. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fema...
