SpaceCrafts SciFi Model show - Bicester, 21st March
A new show here in the UK, for model makers focussing on Sci Fi and Fantasy. Maybe more focussed on hardware than figures, but I'll be there with the IPMS US SF&F special interest group.

Jiji and Lily - Kiki's Delivery Service
My first completed models of the year, hesitate to call this a kit... These are characters from the Studio Ghibli movie "Kiki's Delveiry Service" The two cats are 3D printed and arrived in a Christmas Cracker. They stand about an inch and a half tall and were painted with acrylics. The wal...

Re: 3d print resin
Yes you can - I have quite a few printed kits, including these two (there are threads about them on here somewhere, I don't know how to link to them) https://i.postimg.cc/NLGqnq3Q/DSC-4016.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/7fx6XWVx/DSC-4356.jpg Its a different kind of resin - i'll leave that to someone with ...

Peorth - last kit of 2025
I did finish this before Christmas but didn't get round to taking photos. Peorth is a character from the Anime/Manga Ah! My Goddess series, one of the goddesses. This is the "childhood" version of the character. 1/6th scale vinyl figure picked up from a bargain box at ScaleModelWorld a few...

IPMS ScaleModelworld
Held last weekend in Telford, I attended along with the SciFi and Fantasy Special Interest group, putting on a display of our completed kits. These pictures are from around the show, where genre models are appearing in a higher number every year. This is on FB, so you may or may not be able to see t...

My Neighbour Totoro
A quick project, 3D print of King Totoro from the Studio Ghibli film. Don't know where it came from, it was a birthday present. The base is meant to give a suggestion of his forest home where he's waiting for a bus. https://i.postimg.cc/N53tQTPH/totoro-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/FY04zR2V/totoro-2.jp...

Re: 3D printer pens
I admire the skill - I've got a 3D pen, albeit a cheap one and find it difficult to do anything, even simple flat pieces. Definitely not as easy as it looks

Re: Manticore Cub
Thank you. I wouldn't say I favour those subjects - my collection could be best described as eclectic - but I do have a soft spot for dragons and a small collection of gods & goddesses

Thank you. One of the reasons I follow and buy from R-One is that they produce original and unique subjects like this

Manticore Cub
I completed this little fellow at the weekend, a manticore cub from R-One Studios. Subtitled "Mythical Cubs", I don't know if he's first in a series but I thought he was very cute. Like everything I've got from R-One, excellent casting with very few seams and no fit problems - ok so only 3...

Re: 3 questions about your collection
Favourite today because of how it looks from where I'm sitting and the way the light is catching it in the display cupboard is BD-72 - tomorrow I'll be sitting somewhere else and the light will change so something else will catch my eye https://i.postimg.cc/VdQknd1j/IMG-20250720-142406-182.jpg Rares...

Re: If you could only choose one
Built would be a close call between Cellar Cast "Boris Valleho's Tattoo" and Kotobukiya Stormbringer. Tattoo is easier to transport safely so that may be the best choice

Re: The Morrigan
Still a work in progress but sharing some more pics. Some gaps in assembly needing putty, started shading and working on the face - not happy with the eyes at the moment. https://i.postimg.cc/GHFyVHtd/morigan1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/DWZ4S6gw/morrigan2.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/zypRD6TQ/morrigan3.jpg
