The last time I built The Forgotten Prisoner I filled in the eye sockets, added the nasal septum, filled in the palate, and, since I wanted the head tilted back (like the box art) I made a rough section of cervical vertebrae from part of the sprue since it would be obvious that the bones in his neck...

Maybe the molds were shot, but I'm quite surprised these kits weren't reissued due to the popularity of the movies. I think that's probably because they don't really represent the movies well, the possible exception being Curse of the Black Pearl . Either that, or The Mouse wanted too much money fo...

Great kit nice start so far, Question : how difficult would it be to raise the creatures arms more like the photo from the movie ? would using boiling hot water help bend the arms at the elbows ? thanks. If they do a Penguin kit, which seems likely, it probably won't be a reverse-engineered reissue of the Aurora kit, but it'll probably be as good or better.

Wondering if there might be a "customizer" kit added in the coming year. It would be great to be able to pose the kits differently. Additional arms in different positions, same for Julia. I know Aurora headed in that direction one time but the technology really wasn't there. Now it's poss...

Truly one of the nicest build-ups of this kit I've seen so far! I particularly like the way you modified the heads so that they're actually looking at each other--nice attention to detail!

My "deluxe" kit finally arrived today, two days after the estimated delivery date (thanks U.S. Postal Service!). I'd forgotten just how small these kits are! Like Trevor's kit, the resin "Kathy Burns" head and torso part in the kit I received is slightly narrower than the styrene...

And, of course, there's always the good old MPC/AMT/Ertl styrene kit. Admittedly it's not the best Star Destroyer kit ever produced, but it can be made to look quite good with a little extra work.
