Alternative Images Giant Behemoth

#1 Post by Jon LeGrand »

Another resin kit produced by Alternative Images and sculpted by Joe Laudati. This kit comes with a diorama base with name plate and two Cornerstone styrene transmission towers. The paleosaurus is about 7 inches tall and 11 inches long if I remember correctly. I utilized Testor's Color Shift paints on this project, using the Copper/green effect and doing transparent oils over that to make it look less garish.

Very effective Jon, the colour shift paints come across very well on the video. It's great that AI include the towers,
a really nice touch to lend some scale to the creature.

Joe did an awesome job on the sculpt too, including the creases and
seams of the actual prop!

Thanks for sharing another epic beast!

Cheers,
Paul

That looks great. Love the effect of the color-shift paint.
The kit is a bit smaller than I thought it was, but there is a ton of detail packed into it.

You did a great job.. you should do Beast from 2000 fathoms vs Behemoth

What can I say, but another great one Jon! Your experiment with the iridescents really worked out.
