The Alien was
re-positioned, and I sculpted the " appendage " under the head
that Takeya did not include in the sculpt. Clear-domed head from Fewture's
Alien Pile was used in my buildup. An airbrush was used to basecoat the
Alien and base, as well as haze transparent colors on underside of clear
head dome. But the rest was hand painted with many layers of very
transparent washes and sponge painting. I won a Silver Award in Diorama's
for it at this years Wonderfest.
So it made all those sleepless nights very much worth it!!
