The Incredible Hulk (commission build) WIP

#1 Post by Red Comet »

I've recently been working on a repair and re-paint of an Incredible Hulk kit for a client.

http://www.ghostofzeon.com/wip/hulk/hulk_repair.html

One arm and one leg were broken off when my client received the kit from another builder and he was after someone local to make the repair for him. So far, I've repaired the damaged limbs, and have almost repainted the entire kit (been working on this for a month or so now).

Thoughts and suggestions are always welcome so let me know what you think so far (this is my first attempt at a figure kit so I'm interested on how it looks).

I'm not all the familiar with the kits origins, but I believe it's that one with the Hulk holding a police car above his head and the companion piece is Thor.

Yep, looks like the post office decided to give John's Hulk a "workout"?

i dont believe that is John's piece, I could be wrong though, but his skin tone is lighter and the pants are a different color.

Yeah I thought that Edhino/Allred was a one-off?

Either way, Thor must have got the best of him!

I can confirm that it definently isn't that build. The original painting style is completely different.

Hi fellas,
I think I would have heard if the Hulk got destroyed in shipping. A previously repaired finger broke on his long trip to Australia. Also Edinho was nice enough to recast him in solid resin/porcaline for us. I think this may be the first one my client had commisioned from Edinho (before Thor was added) and it was painted by Daniel Santos and shipped from Brazil. Heres a shot of the one I did;

Now Thor is another matter entirely........ :?
