I managed to buy the Colonial Marine figure kits through Cinem Store, London (Village just ship them with the stores regular magazine order thus cutting the price by a third) about three years ago. I picked up the Alien from and proceeded to surf the net for Aliens related web sites to get some ideas for a setting.

Various parts from plastic kits were used for background details - a major source being the Moonbase Alpha from MPC.  I purchased some plastic darning net for the ceiling and floor grating along with some wooden dowels and plastic girders from my local hobby store.  The door to the left is from an old refridgerator and the air-lock to the right is an old audio-cassette (remember them?) holder.  The signs in the background were downloaded from various web sites and printed off onto matt photo paper.
